Digging the rig. I think I have finally found the perfect shoulder rig for my DSLR video work. It is the Jag35 Field Runner v2. It’s compact, light weight and a much more ergonomic way to shoot handheld video with a DSLR. The offset straight railblock allows me to use my Nikon D800 with it’s grip (I like having the two batteries). The handles adjust easily and the rig works as a low angle tripod on the fly. Here I have my Rode shot gun mic but also have a Sony wireless mic system and focus puller. It’s got room for other stuff and a counter weight on the back if needed.
