The current center serves more than 30,000 first responders and healthcare workers. The PSC is currently in phase one of a four stage plan to expand and upgrade the 12-acre complex over a 20 year period. The phase includes renovating the 6 story fire training tower, smoke structure and burn building, constructing a state of the art indoor firing range, and adding training sites for Hazmat and other emergency situations. The $15 million dollar phase one is scheduled to be completed by summer 2012.
